    Quick answer

To add trust badges to Shopify without an app, build them on the ListingFix Shopify trust badges page, then paste the Liquid snippet or HTML into your theme. You can choose up to eight badges, 18 icons, your colours, layout and corners. The output adds no app or outside script to your store.

    What this tool does

    How to use it

    1. 1Choose up to eight badges, each with an icon and a short label.
    2. 2Set the colours, layout and corner shape while you watch the preview.
    3. 3Download the SVG or Liquid snippet, or copy the HTML into your theme.

Trust badges are small icons with a short promise, like easy returns or secure checkout, usually placed near the add to cart button. They should repeat what your store really offers, because a badge is only worth anything when the promise behind it holds up.

This builder gives you plain code that adds no app and no outside script to your theme. Pick icons and colours, then take an SVG image, a Liquid snippet or HTML you can paste into a section. Nothing is uploaded.

Adding the Liquid snippet to your theme

In your Shopify admin, open Online Store, then Themes, and choose Edit code from the theme menu. Add a new snippet named trust-badges and paste the code. Then place {% render 'trust-badges' %} in the section or template where the badges should appear, such as your product form.

Prefer not to touch code? Copy the HTML into a Custom Liquid block in the theme editor. Duplicate your theme first, so you can return to the old version if something looks wrong.

What not to put on a badge

Avoid claims you cannot back up, such as a guarantee you do not honour. Avoid certification or payment logos you have no right to use as well. The icons here are generic line icons from Tabler, free to use, and do not imply approval from any company.

    Questions sellers ask

    Do trust badges increase sales?

They can help a new visitor feel safer, but we do not have a figure that would apply to your store, and any promised number should be treated with care. Test them yourself by comparing your add to cart rate before and after, over a similar period.

Do I need a Shopify app for this?

No. The output is plain HTML, inline SVG and a little Liquid, so nothing extra loads on your store and there is no monthly charge. You paste it once, and you change it by editing the snippet or coming back here to build a new one.

What is the difference between the three exports?

The SVG is one image for product images, emails or other sites. The Liquid file is a theme snippet with colours set at the top for easy editing. The HTML is for a Custom Liquid block or any other website that accepts pasted code.

Will the badges match my theme font?

The HTML and Liquid versions inherit the font of the page around them. The SVG uses a common system font, so it can look a little different from one device to another. If an exact font matters most, use the HTML or Liquid version.

How do I add trust badges to a Shopify product page?

In your admin, open Online Store, then Themes, and choose Edit code. Add a snippet named trust-badges, paste the code, then render it in your product form or section. You can instead paste the HTML into a Custom Liquid block. Duplicate your theme first.

Is there a free Shopify trust badge generator?

Yes. This builder is free, with no app to install and no monthly charge. Choose your badges and colours, then download the Liquid snippet or SVG, or copy the HTML. Everything is generated in your browser, and you can come back to build a new set.

Should I use a trust badge app or a snippet?

A snippet adds nothing that loads from outside your store and has no monthly charge, but it is a fixed row that you change by editing code. An app may suit you if you want it managed from a dashboard, so compare its price and features first.

Can I use Visa or PayPal logos on my badges?

Not from this tool. It offers generic line icons from Tabler, which do not imply approval from any company, and we advise against certification or payment logos you have no right to use. Use a card icon with a label that describes your real checkout.

How do I change the badge colours after installing them?

Open the trust-badges snippet in your theme code and edit the colour values assigned at the top. They control the whole row. If you pasted the HTML instead, the colours sit inside the code, so it is simpler to build a new set here and paste again.
