True profit per shipped order

Best courier for this order:

True profit counts returned parcels: delivered orders earn the profit shown, returned orders lose delivery, return charge and packaging.

    Courier rates

Rates last checked: October 2026. Rates assume pickup in Dhaka city, and apply to a regular parcel, before VAT. Change any figure to match your merchant panel; edits stay saved in this browser. Return % is a share of the delivery charge, added when a parcel comes back.

    Steadfast
    Inside Dhaka
    Dhaka sub-area
    Outside Dhaka

Read from the Steadfast calculator and terms. COD is 1% after the delivery charge is deducted. Steadfast charges no return fee, but the delivery charge stays payable on a cancelled parcel. Source: steadfast.com.bd/pricing, steadfast.com.bd/terms-and-condition

    Pathao
    Inside Dhaka
    Dhaka sub-area
    Outside Dhaka

Read from Pathao's rate table. Pathao's main page says COD is 0.5% in Dhaka metro and 1% elsewhere, while its help page says 1% for all, so check your panel. The sub-area return % is our reading of its return rule. Source: help.pathao.com, pathao.com/courier

    RedXExample rates
    Inside Dhaka
    Dhaka sub-area
    Outside Dhaka

RedX publishes COD rates (0% inside Dhaka, 1% elsewhere) but no public delivery rate card. These delivery figures are examples from a third party report. Replace them, and add your return charge, from your merchant panel. Source: redx.com.bd, banikh.com

    Quick answer

A courier charge calculator compares what Steadfast, Pathao and RedX leave you per shipped order after delivery, COD and returned parcels. Steadfast and Pathao defaults were read from their own pages in October 2026. RedX delivery figures are examples only, so replace them from your merchant panel before you compare.

    What this tool does

    How to use it

    1. 1Enter your selling price, product cost, packaging, weight, delivery area and return rate.
    2. 2Open each courier under Courier rates and change any figure that differs from your merchant panel.
    3. 3Compare true profit per courier. The highest profit for this order is marked cheapest.

The cheapest delivery charge does not always leave the most money. A courier with a lower rate can still cost more once its COD percentage and return charge are counted, especially when one parcel in ten comes back.

Enter one order and this calculator works out the profit per shipped parcel for all three couriers, then marks the cheapest. Every rate is an editable field, so you can match your own merchant panel. Edits stay in your browser.

How true profit is worked out

A delivered order earns the cash collected, minus the delivery charge, COD charge, product cost, packaging and any Daraz commission. A returned order earns nothing and loses the delivery charge, any return charge and the packaging. The product is assumed to go back into stock.

True profit is the average of those two results at your return rate. At a 10% return rate, it is 90% of the delivered result minus 10% of the return loss.

    Where the rates come from

Steadfast figures were read from its own price calculator and terms. Pathao figures come from its rate table. RedX publishes its COD rates but no public delivery rate card, so its delivery figures are labelled examples. Replace them from your panel before you trust the RedX row.

Couriers change rates and often give volume sellers their own. Your merchant panel always wins over the default here.

    Questions sellers ask

Why is the return rate so important in this calculation?

A returned parcel earns no sale but still costs delivery and packaging. Those losses have to be paid from your delivered orders. A small product margin can disappear at a return rate that looks harmless, so use your real figure from recent orders.

Does Steadfast charge for returned parcels?

Steadfast terms say it does not charge for return parcels, but the delivery charge is still payable on parcels that are cancelled. So a returned parcel still costs you the delivery charge. The calculator counts that as a loss with a 0% return charge.

What COD charge should I use for Pathao?

Pathao pages disagree. The main courier page says 0.5% within Dhaka metro and 1% outside it, while the help page says 1% for all deliveries. The default uses the main page. Check a recent payment statement and change the field if yours differs.

Why are the RedX rates marked as examples?

RedX states 0% COD inside Dhaka and 1% elsewhere on its site, but we found no public delivery rate card. The delivery figures come from a third party report of typical rates. Create a test parcel in your panel and enter your own numbers.

Can I use this if I pick up from outside Dhaka?

Yes, but change the rates first. The defaults assume pickup in Dhaka city, and couriers price by both pickup and delivery area. Enter what your panel shows for your route in the three area rows, and your edits are saved in this browser.

How much does Steadfast charge outside Dhaka?

The default here is ৳115 up to 500g, ৳135 up to 1kg, ৳155 up to 2kg and ৳20 for each extra kg, with 1% COD. These were read from the Steadfast calculator in October 2026, assume pickup in Dhaka city and exclude VAT. Your merchant panel rate wins.

How much does Pathao charge inside Dhaka?

The default here is ৳60 up to 500g, ৳70 up to 1kg, ৳90 up to 2kg and ৳15 for each extra kg, from the Pathao rate table. It covers a regular parcel before VAT, with 0.5% COD. Check your panel, because Pathao pages disagree on the COD figure.

How much does RedX charge for delivery?

We could not confirm it, because RedX publishes no public delivery rate card. The figures here, such as ৳70 up to 500g inside Dhaka and ৳150 outside, are examples from a third party report and not RedX rates. Enter your own numbers from your panel.

Which courier is cheapest in Bangladesh, Steadfast, Pathao or RedX?

No single courier wins every order, because the result depends on weight, area, COD and your return rate. Enter your order and the calculator marks the highest profit at your numbers. Treat any result involving RedX as rough until you replace its example delivery rates.

Is this courier calculator free, and are my numbers sent anywhere?

It is free, needs no account, and sends nothing to a server. The calculation runs in your browser, and your order figures and rates are saved only in this browser. The reset button restores the default rates and leaves your order figures as they are.
